Red Slate's mission is to provide a platform for young conservative and libertarian voices to express their views on current issues. This blog is by no means a mouthpiece for the Republican Party; in fact, we challenge some of what the GOP has said and done. Red Slate aims to promote "sensible conservatism" - the ideas behind the conservative philosophy without the distortions of politicians or the media.The blog invites young conservatives and libertarians to share their opinions and bring the message of smaller and simpler government to the world.
